From the moment the article is received on the website until it is published, the paper will go through different stages in the following order:
1.The Process of Accepting Articles
The processes of reviewing, acceptance and publication of articles
1- The chief editor's opinion: if the paper's file is complete, it is sent to the chief editor in order to determine the level and degree of its fitness with the journal's standards and finally selecting referees (usually 3) for a process of anonymous evaluation.
At this point, articles that follow the "Guide for Authors" format are sent to the journal's editor for assessment. Articles that meet the journal's objectives and scope and the required scientific content will be first approved. The editor will then choose a peer reviewer for those articles.
The articles that passed the first round of approval are forwarded to two or more reviewers who are knowledgeable in the article's topic. Based on the review's conclusion, the articles are grouped into one of three categories:
The first category articles will be published immediately after paying the acceptance and publishing fee. The second category will be sent to the article's main author to get revised according to the reviewer's comments and rejected articles will be removed from the review process while informing the author of the article.
At this point, the author or authors of the paper have to either amend it in light of the reviews within a maximum of 15 days of receiving it or use the journal website to explain if alterations are not necessary. An article may need to be revised two or three times before its content is deemed acceptable by the journal editors. After the revisions are approved by the editors, the article is referred to the author for payment of admission and publication fee.
After revising the article based on the reviewer's comments or providing sufficient reasons for not needing revisions, and paying the admission and publication fee, the article will be put in the publication queue and a written letter about the final acceptance and publication of the article will be sent to the author
The articles that have been accepted will be placed in the list of articles ready for publication and will be published in the next issues based on the order of publication.
Note: All the correspondence is due to the corresponding author only and other authors will be informed of the process briefly and partially. So it is the responsibility of the corresponding author to be in regular contact with the journal and conform to its requests. The office of the journal is excused to be in communication with authors other than the corresponding author.
Journal of Critique, analysis and aesthetics of texts offers a double-blind peer review option. Neither the peer reviewers nor the authors are revealed to each other. Authors may suggest preferred and non-preferred reviewers during manuscript submission. However, the ultimate selection of the reviewers will be determined by the editor(s).
We ask reviewers not to identify themselves to authors while the manuscript is under consideration without the editor's knowledge. If this is not practicable, we ask authors to inform the editor as soon as possible after a reviewer has revealed his or her identity to the author.
The peer-review process is the main mechanism for ensuring the quality of published articles. To this end, the submitted articles are rigorously peer-reviewed to ensure the high quality submissions are accepted and published. The decision to accept a manuscript is not based solely on the scientific validity and originality of the study content; other factors are considered, including the level of innovation, extent and importance of new information in the paper as compared with that in other papers being considered, the Journal's need to represent a wide range of topics, and the overall suitability for Journal. Peer review process is follow as below mention steps:
3.Editing referees' reports
As a matter of policy, we do not suppress reviewers' reports; any comments that were intended for the authors are transmitted, regardless of what we may think of the content. On rare occasions, we may edit a report to remove offensive language or comments that reveal confidential information about other matters. We ask reviewers to avoid statements that may cause needless offence; conversely, we strongly encourage reviewers to state plainly their opinion of a paper.
4.Timing
Journal of Critique, analysis and aesthetics of texts is committed to rapid editorial decisions and publication, and we believe that an efficient editorial process is a valuable service both to our authors and to the scientific community as a whole. We therefore ask reviewers to respond promptly within the number of days agreed. If reviewers anticipate a longer delay than previously expected, we ask them to let us know so that we can keep the authors informed and, where necessary, find alternatives.
In any case, the article will be assigned within 4 months.
