With the emergence of Sufism and mystical teachings, people's interest and attention to these teachings expanded day by day, and the mystics put forward the prerequisites and steps for the perfection of man, through which man attains the knowledge of God. With the development and transformation in the foundations of mysticism in different eras, the existence of obstacles and differences in the ways that were proposed for human perfection, the language also found new features. The Sufis used a special language known as mystical language to teach their teachings to those interested, which is divided into two types: the language of expressions and the language of gestures. Expression language is a clear and expressive language that is used for teaching beginners, sign language is a complex and secret language. On the way of their conduct, mystics reach truths and experiences that cannot be expressed with ordinary words and everyday language, and the language of gestures is the best format for such experiences. This research, which examines Molavi and Suhrvardi's views on language in the path of human perfection, shows the use of both expressive and gestural language in Molavi's works. On the other hand, Suhravardi has benefited more from sign language and has presented his teachings in the form of sign language.
